At Rothrock Auction we use www.hibid.com for personal property auctions, www.equipmentfacts.com for large equipment auctions, and www.auctiontime.com for singular pieces of equipment.

We recommend the “Google Chrome” browser to use for our bidding platform.

 

To begin bidding you must have created an account with the bidding platform and you must be logged in and registered to place online bids. We have provided instructions on how to register to bid for www.rothrockauction.hibid.com

Login / Create an Account

Step 1. Click on the grey “Register To Bid” button on the auction you want to register for.

 

Step 2.  If you need to create an account Click the grey “Register Here” button. If you already have an account you can fill out the email and password information and skip to Step 5.

 

Step 3. Fill out the required information to create an account. [First Name, Last Name, Country (Make sure this says UNITED STATES), Address, City, State, Postal Code, Phone Number, Username (you do not need to remember this), Password, Email]

Your Email and Password are what you will use to log in to www.rothrockauction.hibid.com

After filling out the required information Click the grey “Create New Account” button.

 

Step 4. If you successfully created an account you should see your name / username in the top left of the screen below the Rothrock Auction banner.

 

Step 5. From here we need to add a payment method. Click on the grey “Register to Bid” button.

 

Step 6. Click the grey “Add a Payment Method” button.

 

Step 7. Fill out all the Required Fields. Your payment method must have a nickname, we recommend “Primary”

Fill out the Card Details as they appear on your Credit Card and your billing address associated with the Credit Card.

After you have filled out all the required fields. Click the grey “Save” button.

 

Step 8. If your payment method has been saved successfully you should see the below pop-up box with you card nickname and form of card (Mastercard, Visa, etc. and the last 4 digits) in the payment box.

Read the posted Terms and check the “Accept” box

After you have checked the “Accept” box, click the grey “Submit Registration” button.

 

Step 9. If you have successfully registered to bid you will see a pop-up box titled “ROTHROCK AUCTION, LLC” and the greyed “Register to Bid” button will now be green and say “You are Registered”

Place Your Bid

Once you have logged into the bidding platform and your registration for the auction catalog has been approved, you may place your bid(s).

Verify Your Bid

Before your bid is finalized, confirm your bid amount.

Submit Bid

Once your bid has been submitted, your bid becomes a legally binding offer to purchase the item(s) or property being auctioned.

Keep Track of Your Bids

You will receive an email notification if you have been outbid, however these often come after a lot has closed. We recommend watching the items you are bidding on from the live catalog.
