“Isabel” Portrait by Mary Porter

One of a kind painting – absolutely stunning. This portrait was painted by Mary Porter in the early 1970’s for George Shipley Jr.

In the summer of 1971 George Shipley, Jr. & his family received an invitation from Hadi & Mary Porter to visit their son Chappy Porter who was living in Costa Rica. Chappy had two sisters working for him in Costa Rica, one of them was Isabel.

Mary Porter painted this portrait for George Shipley Jr. (Buddy) and presented it to him within the year after returning from their trip.
